Climbing – a sport that can be practised all year round!

Climbing 365 days a year? No problem in the Pitztal valley: The first fixed-rope routes are only 20 minutes away from the Vier Jahreszeiten (on foot).

The mountain range offers sign-posted routes that cater for all levels of difficulty. In winter you can climb ice towers and waterfalls. If you want to practise, there is a climbing tower in the village of Mandarfen: in summer with a bolder track, in winter artificially frozen.

All year round, beginners as well as pros can train and perfect their techniques in the climbing hall in Imst. However, at the end of the day one thing is clear: Only the breathtaking natural surroundings of the Pitztal valley make climbing a truly unique experience!
