No matter whether you are a fan of pure pedal power or prefer the battery boost of an e-bike, the Pitztal Valley has plenty of trails both high and low which will get your heart racing. There are 95 kilometres of marked trails from easy cruising to steep climbing. Mountain bikes and e-bikes can be hired in the region.

Throughout the region there are rock climbing areas with routes for both novices and experts. Further options include via ferrata (fixed-rope routes with handholds and footholds) as well as indoor climbing walls.
"And then you have to have time to simply sit there and look."
Natural jewels of the Pitztal Valley
The Rifflsee is the largest mountain lake in the Ötztal Alps. It can be accessed on foot in summer and autumn. Indeed, on warm days there is the option of taking a tour of the lake on a raft. The approach on foot leads through the Hirschtal Valley, but there is also the option of taking the cable car.
